Azerbaijan hands five Armenian servicemen over to Yerevan

Guided by principles of humanism, the Azerbaijani Republic handed five persons of Armenian origin over to Armenia on December 29, 2021, through the mediation of the Republic of Hungary, Report informs.
They are servicemen of Armenian origin detained on November 16, 2021, while preventing the provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces in the direction of Kalbajar on the state border.
The five Armenian citizens are warrant officers – Sarkis Abramyan, 1995; Arman Khachatryan, 1991; Vage Agajanyan, 1988; Suren Khachataryan, 1992; and Aram Avetyan, 1997.
Azerbaijan returned 21 Armenians to Yerevan on November 26, and on December 4 and 19.
