Azerbaijan attends meeting of CIS Chiefs of Staff

A meeting of the CIS Chiefs of Staff is being held in Samarkand, Report says.

The representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as delegations of the CIS Executive Committee and the Secretariat of the CIS Council of Defense Ministers attended the conference.

The heads of delegations will discuss issues of mutual interest in the field of defense and security and exchange views on the military-political situation along the borders of the CIS countries.
