Air Force commanders of Azerbaijan, Belarus mull co-op areas

During an official visit to Azerbaijan, the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus, Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, held talks with the Deputy Minister of Defense - Commander of the Air Force of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Namig Islamzada, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

The parties discussed key areas of Belarusian-Azerbaijani military cooperation and plans for its development.

During the visit, the Belarusian Major General also visited the headquarters of the Air Force of Azerbaijan, laid flowers at the Alley of Honor in Baku, and is also scheduled to visit a number of military units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of the country.
