Report Media School students visit Turkish Embassy in Baku

Students of the Media School operating under the Report Information Agency visited the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan for the first time.

Report informs that Alptekin Cihangir Isbilir, a media advisor at the embassy, spoke to the meeting participants about the importance of expanding media relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

"Just as we are one nation and two states, our media is also one. In this regard, a media platform project between the two states is being implemented. Our goal is to strengthen media relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as to create a strong alliance in the fight against disinformation emerging in the international arena by both sides," the advisor said.

Isbilir also emphasized the importance of maintaining ethical values ​​in the journalistic profession:

“You cannot abuse the profession of journalist and endanger someone’s life. Especially during war, sharing photos of military equipment, important strategic locations, and soldiers can lead to serious consequences.”

At the end of the meeting, the students met with Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgun and took commemorative photos.
