Mikhail Gusman proposes holding conference on Ilham Aliyev's contribution to media development

The first deputy director general of the TASS agency, Mikhail Gusman, has proposed holding a conference in November about the role of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in media development.

Report informs that Gusman made the proposal at a conference themed "The role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in media development" held in Baku.

"This November will mark the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan's great victory. People will talk and write about it. However, I would like to address the Azerbaijani leadership. It would be good to hold a conference in November about President Ilham Aliyev's role in media development. This will be a very fair and necessary conference," he noted.

Gusman recalled that during the 44-day war, Ilham Aliyev gave 26 interviews: "This is the greatest example of fantastic professional journalistic diplomacy."
