Media: Famous Russian journalist applied for Ukrainian citizenship

Well-known Russian journalist Alexandr Nevzorov and his wife Lydia Nevzorova have applied for Ukrainian citizenship, Report informs, citing the Mash Telegram channel.
They sent the appeal through the Ukrainian consulate in Italy on April 28.
According to the Law of Ukraine, Kyiv should check whether the Nevzorovs are wanted by Interpol and other international organizations.
Nevzorov was a member of the State Duma from 1993 to 2007.
