Hikmat Hajiyev: Global Media Forum isn't held in Shusha by chance

Shusha is a very valuable place for the Azerbaijani people, and it was not chosen as the venue for the global media forum by chance, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department for Foreign Policy Issues of the Presidential Administration, said at the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, Report informs.

"For three consecutive years, the Global Media Forum has been held in the beautiful city of Shusha. Why this city? Shusha, in a certain sense, is the history of the Azerbaijani people, a place of inspiration for creativity. And many Azerbaijani thinkers, philosophers, writers, including journalists, were born in this city and created in this city," he said.

Hajiyev noted that by organizing the forum in Shusha, Azerbaijan is trying to create an inspiring and creative environment and atmosphere so that it would be possible to offer new ideas and recommendations on the current challenges.
