Hikmat Hajiyev: Studying AI is one of important tasks facing Azerbaijani media

The study of artificial intelligence is one of the important tasks facing the Azerbaijani media currently, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, told journalists during the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, Report informs.

Hajiyev noted that discussions are already underway during meetings with media leaders on the application of artificial intelligence in everyday matters:

"We are studying international practices in these matters. If we look at translation work today, although there are still certain technical problems in presenting background voices in Azerbaijani, there are good results in terms of providing translation from Russian and English. These are already being applied on a number of media platforms."

Hajiyev also noted that they are conducting an experiment on artificial intelligence:

"We published an article that is a product of artificial intelligence in one of the Azerbaijani media outlets. However, no one could distinguish that it was prepared by artificial intelligence."
