Euronews Academy launched in Azerbaijan

The Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan and Euronews TV channel, one of Europe's leading news networks, are jointly launching the international training platform Euronews Academy in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the initiative, designed for professionals working in journalism as well as young people who want to specialize in this field, will initially implement a training program on Digital Journalism.

Young journalists, final-year bachelor's and master's students studying journalism and communication, as well as those interested in the media field, can apply to participate in the training.

The training will feature renowned experts from Euronews TV channel as trainers, such as; Tuba Altunkaya, a multimedia journalist with more than 14 years of international experience; Fatih Yetim, the head of the team managing more than 70 social media accounts operating in 13 languages; and Archil Mikadze, who has worked as the chief technology director at Euronews Georgia with more than 19 years of experience.

The project will provide training on modules including Digital news gathering and data-based journalism, Digital video strategy and new formats, Social media and YouTube management, Innovative practices for journalists: artificial intelligence tools, SEO and data visualization, and Mobile journalism.

Participants who demonstrate high achievement in the program will have the opportunity to gain experience at the Euronews channel.
