Broadcasting of TRT 1 will be restored in Azerbaijan tomorrow

Baku. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ Broadcasting of TRT 1 in Azerbaijan will be restored within the social package.

Report informs citing TIKA, relevant agreement has been reached between the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency under the Office of Prime Minister of Turkey (TIKA) and National Television and Radio Council, Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Radio-TV Broadcasting and Satellite Communications Production Association.

According to information, after gradual suspension of analog broadcasting in Azerbaijan from November 2016, TRT 1 will be broadcasted 24 hours daily within digital social package on March 1.

Notably, TRT 1 TV channel had been broadcasting in Azerbaijan since 1995, according to the agreement signed between the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
