Azerbaijani Press Council chairman praises media's efforts in combating disinformation

Rashad Majid, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Press Council, has expressed his high regard for the Azerbaijani media's efforts in fighting against disinformation, Report informs.

Speaking at a conference themed "New Trends in Modern Media: Information Security and Professionalism Criteria," Majid emphasized the commendable work of the media, particularly TV channels, in this crucial battle.

"The media's activities within the framework of combating disinformation should be appreciated," Majid stated.

He specifically highlighted the successful collaboration between the Media Development Agency and Azerbaijan Television in organizing the MediaLab project, deeming it a fruitful initiative.
