At the Shusha Global Media Forum, the issues of transforming the digital media environment were seriously discussed, debates were held about the media environment and the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism and the media, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan Ahmad Ismayilov told journalists following the Global Forum "New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution", Report informs.
The forum was held on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press
"The Global Media Forum is being held in our native Shusha. The participation of President Ilham Aliyev on the first day of the forum was very important. The participants watched the forum with great interest," he said.
According to him, the main goal of the Shusha Global Media Forum was more accurate tracking, discussion and exchange of views on the processes taking place in modern media.
"Also, the main goal of holding such forums is the integration and unified application of the processes carried out in the field of media literacy in Azerbaijan to the processes taking place in the world," Ismayilov stressed.
About 150 foreign guests from 49 countries, including representatives of state news agencies of 34 countries, 12 international organizations and media structures, took part in the Shusha Global Media Forum. Besides, 60 heads and employees of local media outlets were among the participants.
