The rally on the Khankandi-Lachin road is peaceful, there are no obstacles for vehicles to pass along it, there is no blockade, British traveler Sasha Heaney told Report.
The protest is peaceful, but thanks to it, the participants convey their truth to the world, she noted.
According to Heaney, it is impressive that people are so dedicated to the cause, in which they believe, that for almost two months the rally has been going on on the Khankandi-Lachin road.
“I think it’s very brave, activists let everyone know about their demands. This is a beautiful corner of the world, and it should remain clean and safe for people,” she said, adding that, of course, citizens have the right to demand that nature would be treated with great care.
The traveler expressed hope that the protesters would achieve their goal.
According to Heaney, she didn’t see any blocking of the road by Azerbaijani activists. “At least, judging by what I saw with my own eyes, there is no blockade. Of course, the media can write like that, but from what I see, this is a very peaceful protest and the road is free for vehicles’ movement,” she said.
