Serbian ambassador praises pace of reconstruction in Lachin

The pace of construction and restoration work underway in Lachin is impressive, Serbian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Dragan Vladisavljević, told Report's correspondent in Lachin.

"Lachin is an amazing place, and what's even more impressive is the scale of changes that have taken place since my last visit. My previous visit was a year and a half ago, and it's simply incredible how much has been built since then. Today, we arrived at the new airport. I am truly proud of the country [Azerbaijan] and its development," the ambassador said.

The diplomat noted that this is already his fourth visit to Lachin.

"Tomorrow we will visit Shusha and Aghdam. I was in Aghdam three years ago and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes that have taken place there. Every time I come to these [liberated] territories, it's hard to recognize the places I saw before — everything is changing, becoming newer, bigger, better, and truly beautiful," the ambassador noted.
