Over 30 graves belonging to Khan dynasty found in territory of Imarat, Aghdam

More than 30 graves belonging to the Khan dynasty were excavated in the area called Imarat in Aghdam, Professor Abbas Seyidov, director general of the Institute of Archaeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, told Report.
According to him, the archaeologists have been working for almost 50 days in the area called Imarat in Aghdam, where the Khan family is buried: "It can be said that almost the entire territory of the building, an area of more than 1,000 square meters, has been excavated. More than 30 graves belonging to the Khan dynasty were excavated there. Work is underway to remove the rest."
