Monument erected in place where Azerbaijan gave its first martyrs during Patriotic War

"In honor of our martyrs, this monument - this piece of rock was erected here, near the village of Qarakhanbayli," President Ilham Aliyev said speaking in front of the commemorative plaque dedicated to September 27 - Remembrance Day in Qarakhanbayli village of Fuzuli district, according to Report.
"The village of Qarakhanbayli and five other villages were liberated on the first day of the Second Karabakh War," the head of state said.
