Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh act in full accordance with the tripartite agreements of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation and Armenia and do everything to ensure order, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, the Russian bureau of Report informs.
He was speaking in response to today’s accusations by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the failure of Russian peacekeepers to fulfill their duties on the Lachin road.
“Russian peacekeepers are doing everything possible to ensure order and tranquility in the territories where they work. They act in accordance with the spirit and letter of the documents that were signed between the parties,” Peskov said.
“We will certainly continue discussing this topic with our Armenian colleagues and allies,” he added.
