The demining work in the liberated territories continues at an accelerated pace despite hindrances, Sabuhi Sariyev, commander of the special-purpose division of the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), told reporters, according to Report's Karabakh bureau.
He said special equipment is used to accelerate the demining process.
"Specially trained dogs are involved in the demining process along with sappers. These dogs are able to detect a great number of mines and explosive substances," he said.
