Gas supply has been suspended in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.
Gazprom Armenia is currently working on the rehabilitation of the pipeline, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.
The reason for the suspension of the gas supply was the work on road construction.
It was noted that on April 2, builders damaged the pipe at the 13.5th kilometer of the Gorus-Gafan highway. As a result, residents of Gorus, Gafan, and the Karabakh region, where peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, were left without gas because one of the branches of the gas pipeline supplied gas to the Karabakh region.
