Brazilian ambassador: Aghdam will again become Karabakh's economic center

The Aghdam Industrial Park and the infrastructure created in it will attract a significant number of entrepreneurs, which will allow Aghdam to regain its status as the economic center of the Karabakh region, Ambassador of Brazil to Azerbaijan Manuel Montenegro told Report during the visit of the diplomatic corps to Karabakh.

"Infrastructure projects in Karabakh are being implemented with impressive intensity. For me, this visit to the liberated territories was extremely useful - I was able to see with my own eyes the scale and pace of the implementation of the Karabakh restoration project," the diplomat shared his impressions.

Montenegro especially noted that he was amazed by the pace of the region's restoration and the fact that all aspects necessary for attracting people to the region were taken into account when planning the restoration.

"Modern infrastructure and favorable conditions for business have been created. Aghdam has historically been the economic center of the region, and now it is confidently moving towards returning to its former status. The city will undoubtedly be a great success and will attract many entrepreneurs," the ambassador emphasized.

The diplomat noted that the restored district will be especially attractive to the younger generation, which is eager to contribute to the creation of a new economy in the liberated territories.
