Bert Appleton: UK to continue cooperation with Azerbaijan in demining

The UK will continue cooperation with Azerbaijan in demining, Bert Appleton, Head of the Counter-Explosive Ordnance Defence Engagement Office, said at the 2nd International Conference on 'Mine Action - The Path To Reaching Sustainable Development Goals.'

Report's correspondent seconded to Aghdam said that, according to Appleton, the training sessions are continued successfully.

The UK will continue cooperation with Azerbaijan in demining and invite specialists to Great Britain, Bert Appleton said.

He said they also support involving women sappers to demining.
