“Azerbaijan relatively recently has put forward five basic principles according to which relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia should be normalized. These are all fundamental principles of international law. I think that on this basis it is possible to achieve normalization,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Report informs.
“The Karabakh conflict is already history, it was resolved two years ago. Therefore, there is practically nothing to discuss in this context, and the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations is the format that requires very serious steps,” the head of state said.
