ANAMA neutralizes 9,584 mines and 7,081 unexploded ordnances in liberated territories 

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released information about the clearance of mines and unexploded ordnances in the territories liberated from the occupation.

According to Report, the clearance operations are conducted in Aghdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli, Tartar, and Shusha.

Azerbaijan continues the operations of clearing of mines and unexploded ordnance on the territories, through where the Barda-Aghdam, Fuzuli (Horadiz) – Zangilan (Aghbend) railways, Fuzuli-Shusha, Sugovushan-Talish-Tapgaragoyunlu motor roads will pass, in the areas where the power lines for Fuzuli-Shusha, Aghdam and the Sugovushan village of the Tartar district will be constructed, in the sowing-areas of Aghdam, Gubadli, and Zangilan.

The mine clearance operations, which have been conducted in an area of 16,586,032 square meters (1.586 hectares) since September 27, 2020, have neutralized 9,584 antitank and antipersonnel mines and 7,081 unexploded ordnances.
