“We saw beautiful landscapes all over the country, especially in Karabakh,” American traveler Philippe Izedian said in his statement to journalists in Azerbaijan’s Lachin, Report informs.
Philippe noted that the restoration work in the city is going on fast.
The traveler also touched on the landmine threat in the liberated territories: “The demining process is not safe, and sometimes we hear of someone stepped on a mine. The death of civilians is a tragedy. The government of Azerbaijan is working on the demining process.”
Izedian also noted that he would be glad to visit Azerbaijan again and would definitely recommend his friends to visit these places: “This is my second visit to Azerbaijan and my first visit to the liberated territories. I will definitely recommend my friends to come here, it's really nice.”
