14 servicemen of Georgian origin martyred in Patriotic war

Fourteen of our servicemen, martyred in the Patriotic War, which the Azerbaijani army ended with triumph in 44 days, were from Georgia.

Georgian bureau of Report informs, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev said during video conference dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. According to him, this is a new vivid example of Azerbaijanis' love and selflessness in Georgia for their homeland:

"The embassy provided support in organizing memorial ceremonies for our martyrs in Georgia, and a trip of relatives to Azerbaijan."

F. Guliyev said that from the first days of the war for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, our compatriots in Georgia demonstrated support and solidarity.
