541 mines discovered in Azerbaijan's liberated territories over past month

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released monthly update about humanitarian demining operations carried out in liberated territories.

Report informs that in November, 85 anti-tank mines, 456 anti-personnel mines, and 2,274 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were discovered and neutralized in the liberated territories.

Additionally, 4,707.4 hectares of territory were cleared of mines.

The demining operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the State Border Service (SBS), and four private companies.
