Baku. 15 February. REPORT.AZ/ American curler Tyler George participates in the Winter Olympics in 8-year-old rip skechers.
Report informs, The New York Times has posted.
As George himself said, these are ordinary skechers from a shopping center. He self-glued to the shoe Teflon plate, which helps to slide on the ice.
For eight years of use, the right shoe due to the large number of holes has become like a colander. The athlete calls this ventilation.
Tyler does not change his shoes because he will get used to the new pair for a long time. Two attempts to replace the shoes were unsuccessful. Also, the athlete does not give shoes to repair, because he does not want to part with them even for a couple of days.
