Last night in Moscow became the warmest in the last 57 years; the temperature at the Russian capital's VDNKh weather station did not drop below 12.9 degrees Celcius, leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Evgeniy Tishkovets said, Report informs via TASS.
October 4, 2023 ranks second warmest in the history of regular meteorological measurements in Moscow, second only to the year 1966, he said.
Tishkovets also noted that such night temperature indicators correspond to the summer climate norm.
According to meteorological statistics since the creation of the VDNKh weather station, on the night of October 4, the minimum temperature of above 10 degrees Celsius is observed only once every eight years, the weather forecaster noted.
