Yusif Abdullayev: INSTC might expand trade turnover between Russia, Azerbaijan

The International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) is of great importance in the expansion of cargo transit, and trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan, Yusif Abdullayev, executive director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) said, Report informs.

He made the remark at a session dedicated to the prospects of economic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan within the framework of the International Economic Forum held in St. Petersburg.

Abdullayev noted that 1,900 Russian companies are registered in Azerbaijan, and 1,300 of them are fully operating.

He emphasized the comprehensive nature of their collaboration, stating, “There is no area where we do not cooperate.”
