Turkish holding plans multimodal transit hub project in Kazakhstan’s Aktau port

Turkish YDA Holding is considering a major project to create a multimodal transit hub at the port of Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Report, citing the press service of the Kazakh president, informs that the interest was expressed during a meeting between Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and YDA Holding Chairman Huseyin Arslan in Ankara.

During the discussion, Huseyin Arslan outlined the company’s plans to develop the transport project and provided updates on current initiatives — including the construction of multipurpose hospitals in Turkestan, Astana, and Petropavlovsk, the expansion of the YDA Industrial Park, and the establishment of a sandwich panel manufacturing plant in Astana.

Tokayev hailed the strategic interest of the holding in Kazakhstan and expressed support for the investment initiatives being implemented in the country.
