Transport Logistics Center of Kazakhstan to send 10 container trains monthly to Azerbaijan

It is planned to send 10 container trains per month to Azerbaijan through the Transport Logistics Center of Kazakhstan, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

In terms of the development of the Middle Corridor and the attraction of new cargoes, the Transport Logistics Center of Kazakhstan, which started operating in China these days, aims to significantly increase the volume of cargo transportation along the route.

The train, consisting of 61 containers, covered the 7,000-kilometer-long route (Kazakhstan terminal in Xian - Aktau - Absheron station) in 11 days. During multimodal transportation, the containers were reloaded at the port of Kazakhstan and delivered to the Baku International Sea Trade Port via the Caspian Sea, and from there to the Absheron station.
