A total of 111 kilometers of bus lanes have been established in Baku, Tarlan Safarov, Head of the Baku Regional Department of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), said during the first session of the National Business Development Forum in Baku, titled "Discussion of Issues and Proposals for the Development of Transport Infrastructure," according to Report.
"To achieve short-term results, dedicated bus lanes were introduced in Baku. In total, over 111 km of such lanes have been created across 37 streets and avenues. This has significantly reduced travel time for passengers. Currently, these bus lanes serve around 1 million people, helping to greatly shorten trip durations and increase average travel speed," he said.
