Immediately after the ceremony of laying the foundation of the Talish-Tapgaragoyunlu-Gashalti-Naftalan road in Tartar District on October 3, the State Agency for Roads of Azerbaijan has launched a large-scale construction work in this section.

Report informs that the total length of the road connecting four settlements will be 22 kilometers. A 19-km section of the road will be built in accordance with II, and a 3-km section - in accordance with IV technical category. The width of the roadway will be 9 meters on a 19-kilometer section.

Large-scale construction work is currently underway on the road. Asphalting work has already been completed on the first 1.8 km section of the road.

Within the framework of the project, a new road bridge will be built across Injachay on the section of the road passing through Tapgaragoyunlu village.

Once the road is commissioned, along with the city of Tartar, an alternative road in this direction to the city of Naftalan will be available.
