PIA launches direct flights from Islamabad to Baku

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has launched direct flights from Islamabad to Baku, Report informs, citing the Pakistani Embassy in Azerbaijan.
An official event was held at Islamabad International Airport on this occasion. The event was attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov, CEO of Pakistan International Airlines Mohammad Amir Hayat, PIA officials, as well as the first passengers of the direct flight.
The flights will initially be carried out every Monday from Islamabad and every Friday from Baku.
