Passenger transportation by rail in Azerbaijan soars 30%

In January-February 2024, 3 million tons of cargo AND 1,261,500 passengers were transported by rail in Azerbaijan, down 2.7% and up 30.8%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, an average of 363 wagons were loaded and 415 wagons were unloaded per day.
