Passenger transportation by rail in Azerbaijan increases by 51%

Over the past 20 years, the passenger transportation by rail in Azerbaijan has increased by 51%, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
Thus, in 2023, a record number of 7 million passengers were transported on the CJSC’s suburban and in-country routes. This figure was 4.7 million in 2003.
