Passenger transportation by air increases by about 50% in Azerbaijan

In January-February 2024, 63,100 tons of cargo and 493,700 passengers were transported by air in Azerbaijan, up 22.5% and 48.4%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, 99.9% of transportation was carried out by state companies and 0.1% by private enterprises.
