Passenger transportation by air increases by 58% in Azerbaijan

In January-May 2023, 966,400 passengers were transported by air in Azerbaijan, 58.3% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, 99.9% of transportation was carried out by state companies and 0.1% by private enterprises.

Meanwhile, cargo transportation by air decreased by 45.2% to 117,500 tons.
