Ministers of Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan to hold meeting on Rasht-Astara line

Foreign ministers, transport ministers, energy ministers and customs services heads of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan will meet in the near future to discuss the progress of the Rasht-Astara railway section construction of the North-South International Transport Corridor, said the Islamic Republic's ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, Report informs via TASS.
"We plan to hold a trilateral meeting in the near future with the participation of foreign ministers, transport ministers, energy ministers and heads of customs services of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan," he said.
The ambassador noted that the agreement on the implementation of this project is planned to be signed by March 2025.
