The meeting of the general assembly and working group of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) International Association is scheduled for February 2025 in Baku, Alibi Tulegenov, Deputy Director of the Integrated Planning Directorate at JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), said in an interview with Report's Kazakhstan bureau.
KTZ and Azerbaijan Railways maintain constant dialogue regarding strengthening TITR's potential, he said noting that within the framework of the TITR International Association, the companies regularly hold meetings to discuss key issues related to route development.
According to Tulegenov, these meetings analyze past period results, identify current challenges, and determine strategic directions for further cooperation.
He said TITR member countries are currently facing the task of reducing transit time.
For this purpose, both transport companies continuously coordinate vessel and train schedules to coordinate actions and minimize the occurrence of unforeseen situations, Tulegenov noted.
