Maritime cargo transportation in Azerbaijan up by approximately 2%

In 2024, 2.8 million tons of international maritime cargo valued at $2.65 billion were transported on the territory of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
These figures are 37.5% and 1.7% higher respectively compared to 2023.
Last year, 95,500 tons of cargo (21% more) worth $97.2 million (46.7% less) were exported by sea transport, while 2.71 million tons of cargo (46.3% more) worth $2.55 billion (7.4% more) were imported.
