Kanan Gurbanov: Azerbaijani carriers establish logistics center in China

Azerbaijani freight carriers have opened their own logistics center in China, Kanan Gurbanov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan International Road Carriers Association (ABADA), said, according to Report.

He stated that following the cancellation of the visa regime between Azerbaijan and China, cargo volumes along routes to Türkiye and Asian countries have increased.

“Previously, drivers had to wait a long time to obtain a visa to enter China. Now, with the visa requirement lifted, the process has become significantly easier,” Gurbanov noted.

He added that Azerbaijani drivers can now deliver goods directly further inside China, rather than handing them over to intermediaries at the border, as was previously the case. “Several Azerbaijani companies’ logistics centers are already operating in China,” he added.
