Georgian Railway to fully ensure data exchange on Middle Corridor

Georgian Railway intends to fully ensure information exchange on the Middle Corridor, a representative of Georgian Railways, Maya Tchintcharashvili, told a panel discussion "Digitalization of Railway Transport" organized within the framework of the 22nd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition held in Baku, Report informs.

"We plan to ensure full data exchange with the Central Corridor countries and neighboring railways, harmonize the legal aspects of electronic signatures, and implement sensor-based deep data analysis. At the same time, artificial intelligence-based customer services and digital passenger services are also among our plans," Tchintcharashvili said.

Tchintcharashvili noted that three important steps have already been taken towards digitalization: "These include the introduction of paperless operations, the facilitation of cargo transportation along the Middle Corridor, and the preparation of future action plans."
