East Zangazur's geological data to be included in geoinformation system

President Ilham Aliyev has introduced amendments to the "State Program for Geological Exploration of Subsoil and Effective Use of Mineral Resources for 2020-2024," which was originally approved by Decree No. 1941 on March 16, 2020. The head of state has signed a new decree to implement these changes, according to Report.

In line with the decree, the geological data pertaining to the territory of the East Zangazur Economic Region will now be incorporated into the Geoinformation System.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with resolving any issues arising from the implementation of this decree.
