Baku is set to implement changes in traffic directions on several streets and avenues to optimize the flow of vehicles during this significant international event, according to Report.
Namidan Piriyev, head of the Intelligent Transport Management Center at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, unveiled the transport plan during a presentation focused on COP29 arrangements. He announced that vehicles entering the city from the 14th kilometer of the Baku-Salyan highway will be redirected to the Baku Ring Road via a checkpoint near the Lokbatan Circle, heading towards Shikhov.
