Deputy PM: 95% of Horadiz–Zangilan–Aghband highway construction completed

Ninety-five percent of the Horadiz–Jabrayil–Zangilan–Aghband highway project has been completed, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev said during a special Cabinet meeting focused on President Ilham Aliyev’s recent visit to Washington, Report informs.
Mustafayev noted that Azerbaijan has implemented several infrastructure projects to unlock its transport potential: “Our country is currently executing new projects in this direction. The Baku–Tbilisi–Kars railway and the Baku International Sea Trade Port are key pillars of this strategy,” Mustafayev said.
He added that 76 kilometers of the 110-kilometer Horadiz–Aghband railway have been completed, while construction of the highway along the same corridor continues.
