Deputy Minister: Public transport in Azerbaijan's Ganja to be completely renewed

A complete renewal of the public transport network is planned in the city of Ganja, Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov said at a press conference on the measures implemented in the transport sector in 2024 and plans for 2025, Report informs.

He stated that the necessary funds have been allocated for this initiative: “The renewal of buses and the reconstruction of bus depots will be ensured in Ganja. However, this is not enough. Currently, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency is addressing issues related to the organization of public transport in our other cities—Nakhchivan, Mingachevir, as well as in the liberated territories.”
