Crane vessel ASCO "Azerbaijan" involved in work at Absheron field

The crane vessel "Azerbaijan" with a carrying capacity of 2,500 tons, owned by the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC, is involved in the transportation and installation of the topsides of the platform on the main block of the Absheron field as part of the early gas production project, Report informs with reference to ASCO.
For this purpose, two of the three modules, AMO-2 and AMO-1, manufactured at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Deep Water Jackets Plant, were placed on barges with the help of a crane ship. Module "AMO-3" was loaded onto the deck of the ship "Azerbaijan".
After the structures are delivered to the Absheron field, the "Azerbaijan" crane vessel will be involved in their installation on the support block.
