Chairman: Work underway on implementation of digital solutions in Middle Corridor

Work is underway on the implementation of digital solutions in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, or Middle Corridor), Aybek Bijanov, Chairman of the Board of Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd, Report informs.

According to him, Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd. plans to act as a single operator in the Middle Corridor: "Our shareholders are the railways of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia. We will combine the interests and efforts of the railway organizations of the three countries along the entire route. This will result in TITR becoming transparent and predictable for cargo carriers."

Bijanov noted that the current application of digital solutions on TITR will minimize manual processes and reduce transportation time: "We will create conditions for the Middle Corridor to function as a competitive, comprehensive international route."
