Cargo lost during air transportation to be fully reimbursed for in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, carriers will fully reimburse owners for the cargo lost during air transportation, Report informs, citing the new bill “On Aviation”.

According to the document, if the carrier does not deliver the cargo to the owner within three months after receiving it, it will be considered lost until proven otherwise.

In addition, cargo carriers are required to fully reimburse owners for the cost of cargo lost or destroyed during transportation.
